The Grant Process

Funds from our Community giving program and interest from our endowments are disbursed through a grant  review process. Any non-profit or non-profit sponsored organization may apply for a grant from Sweet Home Community Foundation. All grant applications are reviewed both individually and collectively by the Board members.

Instructions for applying for a grant are provided in a download file to the right. It is in a Microsoft Word .doc file. The application can be downloaded at the right (also a Microsoft Word .doc file). Forms must be received by 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time to be considered. Forms and supporting documentation must be received by the last day of February or the application will be considered incomplete and will not be eligible for consideration.

Sweet Home Community Foundation (SHCF) reserves the right to set and monitor conditions for the disbursement of grant funds. All proposals submitted to SHCF become property of SHCF and cannot be returned to the applicant.

For 2012 grants will be limited to denominations between $250 and $1000. This is due to a restructuring of our organizations funding process.
