Our Board of Directors

The governing body of Sweet Home Community Foundation is the Board of Directors. Our Board of Directors is made up of volunteers representing a wide cross-section of community leaders.

President

The president of Sweet Home Community Foundation is Robert Burford.
Bob is the Chief of the Sweet Home Police Department.

Vice President

The Vice President of Sweet Home Community Foundation is Timothy McQueary.
Tim is a retired Wah Chang department manager, and a former Mayor of the City of Sweet Home, Oregon.
Tim also serves as a volunteer with other organizations.

Treasurer

The Treasurer for Sweet Home Community Foundation is John Kuhns.
John is a retired from the United States Air Force. He has served as the Coordinator and Treasurer for Sweet Home Gleaners and also is active in the Boy Scouts of America. He is one of our local entrepreneurs with an on-line business.

Secretary

The Secretary for Sweet Home Community Foundation is Wendy Younger.
Wendy is the Administrative Assistant for the City of Sweet Home.

Kristin Adams the Coordinator for Sweet Home Schools is another of Sweet Home Community Foundation's Board members.

Gina Riley CSO w/ Sweet Home Police Department – Gina is an active community volunteer and President of Kiwanis Club of SH

Board Member

Max Thompson, Former City Mayor of the City of Sweet Home and Retired real estate agent is another of Sweet Home Community Foundations Board members.
For many years Max served as the Treasurer of Sweet Home Community Foundation.

Sara Windom is another of Sweet Home Community Foundations Board members. Sara is a local business owner.

Shirley Way is the newest member of the board. Shirley is now retired but has served in our community for many years.
